This petition has been filed to transfer the complaint in C.S.R.No.24 of 2019 from the file of the second respondent to any other police for independent investigation.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that based on the complaint given by the petitioner alleging some dowry harassment against her husband and in-laws, enquiry is pending with the second respondent, but, without conducting proper enquiry, the second respondent kept the matter pending. Hence, the present petition has been filed.

3. Today, when the matter came up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that earlier, the petitioner's complaint in C.S.R.No.24 of 2019 has been enquired into and there was a settlement between the parties and the petitioner herself has given a statement before the second respondent that she is not willing to proceed with the complaint. Hence, the complaint has been closed as early as on 21.01.2019 itself. Thereafter, another complaint has been given by the petitioner, based on which, enquiry has been conducted and money and other materials have also been handed over to the petitioner. However, in the said complaint, enquiry is pending.

4. Considering the fact that already C.S.R.No.24 of 2019 has been enquired into and closed, no further order is required to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

be passed in this petition. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is closed.
