.. Respondents/Complainant Prayer:- Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., to direct the second respondent herein to expedite and complete the investigation in Crime Number 129 of 2013 on the file of the second respondent within a prescribed time as fixed by this Court.

O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent herein to expedite and complete the investigation in Crime Number 129 of 2013 on the file of the second respondent within a prescribed time as fixed by this Court.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sankarankovil has filed a status report wherein in Paragraph No.4 states as follows: "4.It is further submitted that, the then Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sankarankovil Sub Division, have examined nearly 70 witnesses and confirmed the conclusion of 2nd respondent that, the 3 accused have involvement in terrorist activities. Further on 13.02.2015, the then Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sankarankovil have forwarded through the learned Judicial Magistrate, Sankarankovil, the properties seized from the accused premises for forensic examination to the Forensic Department, Chennai, to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

ascertain the kind of involvement of the 3 accused in terrorist activities. Having received the properties, the forensic sciences department has acknowledged the receipt of properties in receipt No.740 and case No.C.F.10/2015 dated 17.02.2015.

It is further submitted that, since then the case is pending for want of forensic report. It is further submitted that a top priority letter has been given to the Officer concerned, Forensic Department, Chennai for obtaining early report. It is further submitted that, on receipt of the forensic report, the final report in this case will be filed expeditiously without fail."

3. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition is closed, with a direction to the respondent police to expedite investigation and take action in accordance with law. Sd/- Assistant Registrar(CS II) /TRUE COPY/ Sub Assistant Registrar To 1.The Superintendent of Police, Tirunelveli District.
