ORDER

This petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent No.2 to register the case on the petitioner's complaint dated 12.01.2016 and proceed with the same as per law within the time frame fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents.

3. On a reading of the complaint dated 12.01.2016 and 20.01.2016, it appears that the petitioner was engaged by the opposite party for building a house and that the petitioner had constructed a house. But the opposite party has not made the full payment. It is seen that the dispute essentially appears to be civil in nature and in order to give criminal colour, a complaint has been given. Hence, no positive direction as prayed for can be given.

4. In view of the above, this petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
