O R D E R

This petition is filed by the petitioner to direct the respondents police to file a final report in Crime No.1 of 2023 dated 01.01.2023.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the defacto complainant. Based on her complaint, a case in Crime No.1 of 2023 was registered for the offences under Sections 279 & 337 of IPC. Thereafter, no action was taken and no Final Report was filed so far.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondents would submit that already they filed the Final Report before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Ponnamaravathi and the same was closed as barred by limitation. Thereafter, the petitioner filed a petition before the learned Judicial Magistrate under Section 473 of Cr.P.C. and the same was also disposed of. Therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication. Page No. 2 of 4

However, the case against the Juvenile is pending before the Juvenile Justice Board, Pudukkottai. But, no Final Report was filed before the Juvenile Justice Board, Pudukkottai.

3. Since the case is pending before the Juvenile Justice Board, Pudukkottai and no Final Report was filed, this Court directs the second respondent to file Final Report before the Juvenile Justice Board, Pudukkottai, in respect of Juvenile within a period of 15 days from the date of this order.

4. In view of the same, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
