ORDER
The petitioners/A1 and A2 have filed this petition to quash the Crime No.596 of 2020, pending on the file of the first respondent police, wherein they are said to have committed the offence under Sections 466, 471 and 420 IPC.
2. The case of the prosecution is that the defacto complianant is working as a Civil Engineer and he purchased the land in Survey Nos.114 and 116 situated at Sathanoor Village, Manamadurai Taluk, South Chatanur Kurup Patta No.1014, to an extent of 15 acres, through purchase deed No.2315/2003 in the year 2003 and since then he has been in 2/6
possession and enjoyment of the said property. It is alleged in the complaint that the petitioners herein have registered 22 digit land properties in Doc.No.2096/2017, before the Sub Registrar, Alandur, Chennai by including the defacto complainant's property in a fraudulent manner. It is further alleged that the petitioners/accused persons fraudulently created fake documents and colluded with the revenue officials and fraudulently cancelled and transferred the patta in favour of the 2nd accused. Hence the complaint.
3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) submitted that after completion of investigation, final report has been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Madurai and the same was taken on file in C.C.No.77 of 2021.
4. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), this Criminal Original Petition stands closed with liberty to the petitioners to work out their remedy in the manner 3/6
