ORDER
This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent police to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner from the antisocial and rowdy elements based on the petitioner's representation dated 01.03.2023.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that due to previous enmity between the petitioner's brother, namely, Sivakumar and one Rajesh, the said Rajesh murdered his brother. Therefore, not only the petitioner, the entire family members including women are in panic situation. Therefore, the petitioner made representation to the second respondent dated 01.03.2023 to provide adequate police protection. Till date, his representation has not been considered by the second respondent police. Hence he filed the present petition.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submitted that already police protection has been granted to the petitioner and four police officials were on regular duty in the petitioner house in clock. Again the petitioner made representation dated 01.03.2023, seeking further police protection.
4. In view of the above submission, the petitioner is directed to appear before the second respondent police for enquiry with regard to the additional police protection within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and thereafter, second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.03.2023 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law.
With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
