ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and Mr.S.Kumar, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage.

2.The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 29.10.14 to proceed along with further course of action in paying the terminal benefits and family pension.

3.It is stated that the petitioner is the second wife of the deceased employee and such marriage took place after the death of the first wife of the said person. Therefore, the petitioner claims that she is entitled to family pension and terminal benefits of the deceased employee. It appears that the petitioner has already made a representation on 29.10.2014 to the first respondent. Therefore, it is for the first respondent to consider and decide the same on merits and in accordance with law. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 29.10.2014 and pass appropriate orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
