O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to issue PSV (Public Service Vehicle) badge and COV (Class of Vehicle) conversion in petitioner's driving license bearing No.TN55Z20190002420 based on his application No.425574225, dated 29.01.2025.

2. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.The petitioner claims that he holds a driving license bearing No.TN55Z20190002420 and applied for a PSV Badge and Class of Vehicle conversion on 29.01.2025. However, the petitioner was orally informed that unless the pending FIR in Crime No.118 of 2023 registered against him is closed, his application would not be processed. Aggrieved by the same, the present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing on behalf of the respondent, submitted that the petitioner's application will 2/5

be considered on production of the relevant documents, namely, the "No Objection Certificate" from the Police Department, the Medical Certificate and the receipt of payment of requisite fees.

5. Heard the learned counsel for the parties.

6. In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, the petitioner is directed to submit the necessary documents before the respondent. Upon receipt of the same, the respondent shall consider the application and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity to the petitioner, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
