The writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 4th respondent to provide adequate police protection to conduct "Kumbabishega Festival" at Seyyamangalam Sri Poongulazhi Amman Thirukovil at Abiramam Post, Ramanathapuram District, by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 08.09.2015.

2. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 on instructions, would submit that both the parties entered into an agreement and pursuant to the agreement dated 06.08.2015, they have participated in the "Kumbabishega Festival" at Seyyamangalam Sri Poongulazhi Amman Thirukovil at Abiramam Post, Ramanathapuram District, in the year 2015.
