ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.04.2022 seeking for issuance of free house site patta in her favour for the property being a dwelling house situated at Door No.5-4-92, V.Sithur Adi-Dravidar Colony, Mottanampatti Post, Vedasandur Taluk, Dindigul District and pass final orders within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. The petitioner claims that she is in possession of the aforementioned property for the past 30 years. She has filed tax receipts and other documents along with the Writ Petition to substantiate her case. It is for the respondents to consider the same on merits while deciding as to whether the petitioner is entitled for a free house site patta or not.

3. The petitioner has given a representation on 18.04.2022 seeking for issuance of free house site patta. The petitioner's representation has also been forwarded by the first respondent to the second respondent for consideration.

4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner's representation is considered on merits and in accordance with law after affording a fair hearing to the petitioner.

5. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the second respondent to pass final orders on the petitioner's representation dated 18.04.2022 seeking for issuance of free house site patta in her favour in respect of the property being dwelling house situated at Door No.5-4-92, V.Sithur Adi-Dravidar Colony, Mottanampatti Post, Vedasandur Taluk, Dindigul District within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after affording a fair hearing to the petitioner including granting her the right of personal hearing.

6. With the aforesaid direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
