ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., to direct the respondents to issue "Non Traceable Certificate" to the petitioner based on the petitioner's representation dated 17.09.2022 and the subsequent representation dated 27.03.2023 within a stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has lodged a complaint dated 15.09.2022 before the first respondent for missing of his original gift deed vide document bearing No.1/562 of 1986 dated 10.03.1986 in respect of the property which was situated at Jawaharlal Neharu Street, Sivakasi Municipality, Virudhunagar District, in Survey No.584/1, 591/1, 591/3, 591/4 and 596/1 but no action was taken and hence, he has also sent a representation to the respondents.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's representations dated 17.09.2022 and 27.03.2023 are pending.

Considering the above, the respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry by following the circular issued by the Director General of Police within a period of three months from the date of receipt a copy of this order. Depending upon the outcome of the enquiry, the petitioner shall workout his remedy through appropriate proceedings.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
