2. Heard Mr.T.Mohan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor

appearing for the respondent Police.

3. The petitioner has filed this habeas corpus petition seeking direction upon the respondent Police to trace her son, namely, K.S.Mounagururaja, aged about 42 years, who is missing from 24.05.2016, produce him before this Court and set him at liberty.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, from the respondent Police submitted that the detenu was residing along with his wife and he was running a jewellary business in Palani, under the name and style of Amirtham Jewellery. Since the detenu incurred a heavy loss, he left the place along with his wife with certain properties. Thus, we find that there is no illegal detention and if at all the petitioner is aggrieved by any action of her son / detenu in taking her properties, she is entitled to agitate the same in the manner known to law before the appropriate forum.

5. The habeas corpus petition is closed with the above directions.
