: Respondents PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issue of a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to direct the respondents herein to produce the body of the detenu by name Kaviya, wife of Dhileepan, aged about 24 years and set her at liberty.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by R.SUBBIAH, J] The petitioner is the husband of the detenu and it is alleged that his wife, by name, Kaviya, the detenu herein, went missing.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, it is represented by the learned counsel for the petitioner that his wife returned to her mother's house and presently staying along with her mother and hence, the learned counsel seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the Habeas Corpus Petition. He has also made an endorsement to that effect.

3. In view of the endorsement so made, this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
