ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to give adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his family members based on the petitioner's petition dated 27.03.2023.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submitted that so far, the petitioner's representation dated 27.03.2023 is not received by the second respondent police herein. He further submitted that if the petitioner gives a fresh representation, the second respondent is ready to consider the same.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he is ready to give a fresh representation to the second respondent herein.

4. In view of the above, this Court issues the following direction: 'On receipt of a fresh representation of the petitioner, the second respondent police shall consider the same by issuing summons to the petitioner as well as the third respondent, the second respondent shall act upon the said representation in accordance with law'. 2/4

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
