This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the first respondent police to give police protection to the petitioner and his family members life and limb. 2.Today, when the petition is came up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent, on instructions, would submit that the complaint of the petitioner has been received by the first respondent and based on which, an enquiry has been initiated in C.S.R.No.302 of 2020. He would further submit that during the time of enquiry, the petitioner himself made an assurance to approach the civil court for settling the dispute having by him with the third respondent.
