O R D E R
This application is filed seeking for a direction, directing the respondents to give adequate police protection to the petitioner and her family members, life and limb.
2.According to the petitioner, she made a representation, dated 19.06.2018 to the respondents seeking for police protection to the petitioner as well as her daughter-in-law and grand children. As no order has been passed in the said representation, the petitioner has filed this Criminal Original Petition with the aforesaid prayer. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the respondent police has conducted an enquiry and found that the said complaint is false. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the respondent police have not properly enquired with the
matter.
5.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would further submit that the representation of the petitioner is pending with the first respondent and the same will be considered in accordance with law. 6.In the light of the above, without expressing any opinion on merits, this Court directs the petitioner to give fresh representation to the first respondent and if any such representation is received, the first respondent is directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7.With the aforesaid directions, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
