PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. praying to direct the first respondent to transfer the investigation the case in Crime No.348 of 2019, dated 24.04.2019 on the file of the 2nd respondent to the 3rd respondent or any other agency to investigate the case.

O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to transfer the investigation of the case in Crime No.348 of 2019, dated 24.04.2019 from the file of the 2nd respondent to the 3rd respondent or any other agency to investigate the case.

2. The learned Government Advocate (crl.side) submitted that the respondent police have now almost completed the investigation. In fact, they also received the report from the Revenue Divisional Officer and found out that there was no dowry demand. Further, he submitted that Viscera Report is pending. At this stage, the transfer of investigation cannot be considered as it would affect the entire investigation.

Recording the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), the second respondent is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report within a period of three months. The first respondent is also directed to monitor the investigation done by the second respondent. Further, the first respondent is directed to ensure that the second respondent shall complete the investigation and file a final report within a time stipulated by this Court.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
