The Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of a Mandamus seeking a direction to the respondents to supply Palm Seed Plantations for sowing in Survey No.86, Mathikulam Panchayat, Kottanatham Village, Vilathikulam Taluk, Tuticorin, Tuticorin District. 2.Heard Mr.KA.Raamakrishnan, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr.N.Muthu Vijayan, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents.

3.The land measures 36 acres and 40 cents. The petitioner is the President of Vilathikulam Palm Sakrin Producers Co-operative Society. They are the lessees of the aforementioned lands. They have to sow palm trees. They need the seeds. It had been stated that they had given a request on 31.01.2023 to supply seeds.

4.In view of the fact that the petitioner only wants to grow palm trees and for that seeds are required, a direction is given to the respondents, particularly, the second respondent to comply with the said request within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
