PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to give police protection to enable the petitioner to fence his property comprised in S.No.529/2B2, Plot No.5 with an extent of 3.85 cents situates in Iluppaiyoorani Village, Kovilpatti Taluk, Tuticorin District based on the representation dated 09.06.2020.

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to give police protection to the petitioner and his family members life and limb. 2.Today, when the petition is came up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, would submit that the complaint of the petitioner has been received by the second respondent and based on which, an enquiry has been initiated in C.No.NDis-133/DIPS/TUT/2020. He would further submit that during the time of enquiry, both the petitioner and the third respondent were appeared before the second respondent and gave an undertaking that they will seek their remedy before the appropriate forum. Thereafter, the said enquiry has been closed. However, he undertakes to give police protection to the petitioner, if it is found necessary.
