ORDER

This civil revision petition is directed against the order dismissing I.A No.516 of 2017 in RCA No.2 of 2017 on the file of the Sub Court, Thuraiyur.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the respondent pointed out that the impugned order was passed on 08.01.2018. But, the copy application itself was made only on 06.06.2018. Section 25(2) of the Tamil Nadu Buildings (Lease and Rent) Control Act, 1960 reads as under : "25.Revision : - 1.....

2.Every application to the High Court for the exercise of its power under sub-section (1) shall be preferred within one month from the date on which the order or proceeding to which the application relates is communicated to the applicant."

3.Therefore, this civil revision petition is patently out of time. This Court does not have the jurisdiction to even entertain this civil revision petition. It stands dismissed as not maintainable.

No costs.

Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
