O R D E R
This Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to expedite the investigation and to file the final report in connection with Crime No.10 of 2014 on the file of the respondent police within a time frame as fixed by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.
3. The respondent police filed an affidavit wherein in paragraph No.5 it is stated as follows:
"5. I further submit that, after the investigation was completed by the then Inspector of Police came to a conclusion that the facts which was connected to the petitioner's complaint was purely civil in nature, hence further action was dropped on 16.05.2015 and RC notice was https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ served to the petitioner/complainant. The final report along with RC notice was also filed in Judicial Magistrate
No.1 Court, Karur and the same was accepted and RCS No.04/2016 was assigned in the court of Judicial Magistrate No.1 Court, Karur on 01.04.2016. Hence, the petitioner's prayer was a premature one and was baseless."
4. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to file a protest petition before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Karur within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and work out her remedy in the manner known to law.
