ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the second respondent not to harass the petitioner and his wife under the guise of enquiry.

According to the petitioner, the second respondent is used to put up false cases against the petitioner and his wife and already, so many cases have been foisted against the petitioner and his wife. Again the second respondent has threatened the petitioner to put up false case against him and threatening to close his petty shop, which is run by the petitioner and his wife. Hence this petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner has five previous cases and in four cases, the petitioner has admitted the guilt and the same were disposed of by imposing fine to the petitioner. The second respondent has never insisted the petitioner to closed the petty shop and they have only filed the cases based on the sale of banned tobacco products. Therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication of this case.
