ORDER

Seeking for a direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 19.05.2018, for appointment on compassionate ground, the present writ petition has been filed. 2.Heard the learned Counsel on both sides and perused the materials available on record.

3.It is the case of the petitioner that his mother, who was working as Secondary Grade Teacher, passed away on 20.10.2011. Hence, the petitioner made a representation to the respondents for appointment on compassionate ground. However, vide communication, dated 28.05.2018, the petitioner was informed that his application was time barred and cannot be considered. Hence, seeking for a direction to consider his claim for appointment on compassionate ground, the present petition has been filed.

4.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the representation of the petitioner was rejected and hence this writ petition is not maintainable.
