This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the second respondent police to give police protection to the petitioner and his family members life and limb. 2.Today, when the petition is came up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, would submit that the complaint of the petitioner has been received by the second respondent and based on which, an enquiry has been initiated in C.S.R.No.215/2020, dated 04.06.2020. He would further submit that after due enquiry, the petition given by the petitioner was closed as the dispute between the petitioner and the third respondent is civil in nature. 3.The submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor is recorded.

Crl.O.P.[MD]No.7894 of 2020 4.At this juncture, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that after closing the petition enquiry, the third respondent herein again created the disturbance and attempted to construct the building in the property owned by the petitioner. He would further submit that in respect of the dispute between the petitioner and the third respondent, a civil suit has also been pending in O.S.No.118 of 2015, on the file of the District Munsif, Devakottai.
5.In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh petition before the second respondent, if it is necessary.
