ORDER
This petition has been filed praying to direct the Principal District and Sessions Court, Virudhunagar District at Srivilliputhur to dispose the case in C.A.No.113 of 2013, within the time as stipulated by this Court.
2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has filed a private complaint against the respondent for an offence under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Sivakasi and the same was taken on file in C.C.No.4336 of 2011. After the trial, the respondent was convicted by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Sivakasi and sentenced to undergo one year Simple Imprisonment and also imposed a compensation of Rs.30,00,000/- and the same shall be paid to the petitioner.
3.Aggrieved against the said conviction, the respondent has preferred an appeal before the learned Principal District and Sessions Court, Virudhunagar District at Srivilliputhur in C.A.No.113 of 2013 and the same is pending for more than five years. Thereafter, the case has been adjourned from time to time and subsequently, it was also referred to the Lok Adalat and the same was not settled before the Lok Adalat. In the circumstances, the petitioner has come out with the present Criminal Original Petition for speedy disposal of C.A.No.113 of 2013.

4.I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and also perused the entire materials on record. 5.Taking into consideration the material facts and circumstances, this Court is of the view that in the interest of justice, it may be expedient to issue a direction to the learned Principal District and Sessions Court, Virudhunagar District at Srivilliputhur.
6.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Virudhunagar District at Srivilliputhur, is directed to dispose of the C.A.No.113 of 2013 as expeditiously as possible, on day-to-day basis, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, No costs.
