(Order of the Court was made by J.NISHA BANU, J.) The prayer in this writ petition is for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 5 herein to remove the encroachments by way of constructions of steps, car parking, stair case, compound wall, shed, chicken coop made by the respondents 6 to 13 in the public pathway / street comprised in Survey No.68B/7 situated at Panayakurichi Village, Thiruverumbur Taluk, Trichy District, on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 05.03.2024 within a time frame.

Today, when the writ petition was taken up for hearing, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents submitted that action for removal of encroachment in the abovesaid public pathway, has been initiated and it is under process. 3.

Recording the above submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the official respondents to conclude the eviction 3/5

proceedings within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
