Respondents Prayer: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to conduct a fresh enquiry and consequently cancel the document registered in document No.1353 of 2012, registered before the respondent no.2 in accordance with the Circular No.67 dated 03.11.2011 issued by the respondent no.1 within the time stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petitioner is said to be a victim at the hands of the respondents 8 to 10. Based on the complaint lodged by her, First Information Report has been registered in Crime No.99 of 2013 by the Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch, Dindigul, 5th respondent herein. The said case was investigated and the final report was filed. It was also taken cognizance by the Special Court (Anti Land Grabbing), Madurai, in C.C.No.7 of 2016. There are as many as 8 accused in the said case. The witnesses have been summoned for next hearing on 20.04.2019. The Special Court (Anti Land Grabbing), Madurai, is directed to expedite the trial in the said case and conclude the same within a period of one year from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner also wants this Court to direct the second respondent to enquire into the complaint dated 14.09.2015 given by the petitioner. Considering the submission, the second respondent is directed to enquire into the matter, in terms of Circular Letter No.41530/U1/2017, dated 31.07.2018, issued by the Inspector General of Registration, after giving due opportunity to all the interested persons, within a period of 16 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
