This Writ Petition has been filed for a Mandamus to forbear the respondents from interfering with the petitioner's possession in respect of the property in Survey Numbers 887/15 measuring to an extent of 0.06 cents, 887/17 measuring to an extent of 0.025 cents and 887/18 measuring to an extent of 0.01 cent situated in Meiyapatti Village, Thirumayam Post and Taluk, Pudukkottai District based on the petitioner's representation, dated 29.06.2021. 2.According to the petitioner, he is in possession and enjoyment of the aforementioned properties for a long period of time. It is also his case that he has paid necessary property taxes to the respondents. However, it is his case that the respondents are https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P.(MD)No.8358 of 2022 interfering with his possession. In such circumstances, he has given a representation on 29.06.2021 to the respondents to forbear them from interfering with his possession.
3.No prejudice will be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner's representation is considered on merits and in accordance with law after affording a fair hearing to the petitioner including granting him the right of personal hearing. 4.For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the second respondent to pass final orders on the petitioner's representation, dated 29.06.2021 requesting the respondents to forbear them from in any way interfering with his possession in respect of the land in Survey Numbers 887/15 measuring to an extent of 0.06 cents, 887/17 measuring to an extent of 0.025 cents and 887/18 measuring to an extent of 0.01 cent situated in Meiyapatti Village, Thirumayam Post and Taluk, Pudukkottai District and pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law after affording a fair hearing to the petitioner including granting him the right of personal hearing within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With the aforesaid directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
