Respondent PRAYER :- This Criminal Original Petition is filed to modify the condition No. 7(ii) imposed on the petitioner is that the petitioner shall stay at thoothukudy, appear and sign before the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Thoothukudy, daily twice at 10.30 A.M. and 05.00 PM until further orders in Crl MP(MD) No.647 of 2026 vide its order, dated 27.02.2026 by the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Kanniyakumari District at Nagercoil by permitting the petitioner to appear before the Judicial Magistrate Court, Eraniel, Kanniyakumari District instead of appearing before the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Thoothukudi and thereafter as and when required for interrogation.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to modify the condition No.7(ii) imposed in Crl.MP(MD) No.647 of 2026 vide its order, dated 27.02.2026 by the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Kanniyakumari District at Nagercoil.

2.Heard both sides.

3.Considering the reasons stated in the petition and the fact that the petitioner has complied the condition for a period of 36 days, this Court is inclined to modify the condition No.7(ii) imposed by the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Kanniyakumari District at Nagercoil in Crl.MP(MD) No.647 of 2026, dated 27.02.2026 to the effect that the petitioner shall appear before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Eraniel, Kanniyakumari District for a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The other conditions imposed in the said order shall remain intact.

4.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is ordered. 27.03.2026 PNM TO 1.The Principal Sessions Judge, Kanniyakumari District @ Nagercoil 2.The learned Judicial Magistrate, Eraniel 3.The Inspector of Police, Karungal Police Station, Kanniyakumari District.
