ORDER

The relief sought for in this Writ Petition involves disputed questions of fact. The petitioner seeks for correction of date of birth in his passport.

2.As per the original passport issued in his favour, the date of birth is different, whereas, the petitioner seeks for correction of date of birth as per his Secondary School Leaving Certificate. Since the issue can be considered only after letting in oral and documentary evidence, only a Civil Court can adjudicate such an issue.

3.This Court requested the learned counsel for the petitioner to approach the Civil Court which was agreed upon by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

4.Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of by granting liberty to the petitioner to approach the Civil Court for correction of his date of birth. There shall be no order as to costs.
