dated 07.10.2014, vide which the cheque signing power, which was vested with the petitioner, being the Vice President, has been taken away and conferred to a member of the Panchayat, namely, K.Arumugam.

2. It is a common knowledge that the posts of President, Vice President, etc., are no more in existence and therefore, this Court is of the view that no further order is required in this petition. Hence, this Writ Petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
