Respondents PRAYER : Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the first and second respondents to produce the person or body of the daughter of the petitioner namely Minor Vijayarani, daughter of Shankar, aged about 16 years, before this Court and to hand over her to the custody the petitioner.

O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by V. BHARATHIDASAN, J.) Alleging that the petitioner's daughter by name Vijayarani, aged about 16 years, was found missing from 21.03.2021, the petitioner has given a complaint before the second respondent police on 23.03.2021. Though an F.I.R has been registered in Crime No.274 of 2021, so far no action has been taken by the second respondent police to secure the detenu. Hence, the present Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the second respondent police secured the detenu and produced before this Court and on enquiry, she would state that on her own volition, she left the parental home and married one Ajith Kumar and now she is willing to go with her mother. The petitioner/complainant also present before this Court and on enquiry, she would state that she is willing to take the detenu.

3. Considering the fact the detenu has been secured and she is willing to go with her mother, the Habeas Corpus Petition is closed. Sd/- Assistant Registrar (CS II) // True Copy // / /2021 Sub Assistant Registrar(CS) jbr/akv Note :
