ORDER

****** [Order of the Court was made by R.SUBBIAH, J] The petitioner is the wife of the detenu. It is also stated that the petitioner and the detenu belong to different caste and they fell in love. Their marriage took place on 10.07.2013. subsequently, both of them were living and working at Chennai. While so, the 4th and 6th respondents, who are the parents and brother of the detenu, pressurised him to abandon the petitioner and marry a girl of their own community. Under such situation, on 08.07.2017, the detenu took the petitioner to Ponnamaravathy and left her at her mother's house. Thereafter, he did not return. Fearing that the respondents 4 to 7 would have kept her husband under illegal custody, the present petition has been filed.

2. On a perusal of the affidavit, prima facie, it shows that it is a dispute between husband and wife. Further, today, when the matter was taken up, the learned counsel for the detenu submitted that already steps have been taken before the family Court for divorce by the detenu.

3. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the detenu, nothing survives for adjudication in this petition. Accordingly, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed. Sd/- Assistant Registrar(Records) /True Copy/ Sub Assistant Registrar To
