The petitioner has filed this criminal original petition, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, seeking direction to the respondent Police to file a final report in Crime No.21 of 2013, before the concerned forum within a stipulated time.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent.
3. A perusal of the F.I.R would go to show that it was registered on 19.01.2013 for the offences punishable under Sections 457 and 380 I.P.C.
4. Going by the nature of the allegations, this Court is of the view that it will take some time to complete the investigation by the respondent. Hence, the criminal original petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to expedite the investigation, in Crime No.21 of 2013, and file a final report before the concerned jurisdictional Magistrate Court, as expeditiously as possible.
