The writ petitioner's mother was working as a Noon Meal Organizer. She passed away in June 1996. The writ petitioner's father also passed away in 2004. The writ petitioner thereafter lodged a representation with the respondents. The second respondent by order dated 15.10.2014 rejected the claim of the writ petitioner. The same is assailed in this writ petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 2.The stand of the respondents is that as per the Goverment

policy, the post of Noon Meal Organizer is earmarked only for women. If a Noon Meal Organizer passed away, compassionate appointment will be given only to her female legal heir. The writ petitioner is the son of the deceased Noon Meal Organizer. Therefore, the writ petitioner's request was rightly rejected. I see no reason to interefere with the impugned order. That apart, the question of giving compassionate appointment 18 years after the death of the deceased Government servant will not arise at all. Therefore, this writ petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. Sd/- Assistant Registrar(Crl side) /True Copy/ Sub Assistant Registrar To,
