[Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J.] This Habeas Corpus Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to produce the detenu named as N.Akilesan,S/o. Nagappan, aged about 53 years before this Court and set him at liberty.

2.Heard the submissions made by Mr.R.Ravindran, learned counsel for the Petitioner and Mr.C.Ramesh, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents and perused the materials placed before this Court.

3.The detenu present before this Court today and stated that he was kidnapped on 19.09.2017 and he was kept under illegal detention by one Rajapandi and others and the detenu was also assaulted by the said persons. Now he is taking treatment. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.Mr.C.Ramesh, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that based on the complaint given by the Petitioner, dated 21.09.2017, the respondents/Police have registered a case in Crime No.408 of 2017, under Section 365 of IPC and would further submit that the accused were identified and they are taking action in accordance with law.

5.Recording the above said submission, the Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
