When the writ petition was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that subsequent to the filing of this writ petition, punishment came to be passed. Accordingly, nothing survives for adjudication.

2. In view of the same, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
