PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., directing the respondents 1 and 2 to provide police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner to enter in to the petitioner's property situated at old S.Nos.72(1) part & 72(3) part situated at West Street, Kattu Paramakudi, Paramakudi Town from the respondents 3 to 6 in

accordance with law by considering the representation/complaint dated 23.03.2023.

ORDER

This petition has been filed directing the respondents 1 and 2 to provide police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner to enter in to the petitioner's property situated at old S.Nos.72(1) part & 72(3) part situated at West Street, Kattu Paramakudi, Paramakudi Town from the respondents 3 to 6 in accordance with law by considering the representation/complaint dated 23.03.2023.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor(Crl.side) for the respondents 1 to 3. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor(Crl.side) would submit that based upon the complaint given by the private respondents, enquiry was undertaken in C.S.R.No.235 of 2023. During the course of enquiry, the second respondent police apprehended the breach of peace and hence he made a recommendation to the Revenue Divisional officer Paramakudi under Section 145 Cr.P.C.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that no such notice has been received by him.

5. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor(Crl.Side) that since 145 Cr.P.C Proceedings has been initiated, question of police protection does not arise. The petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedy through the appropriate proceedings. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
