ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking direction to the respondents to expedite the investigation and to file the final report in Crime No.1055 of 2020 dated 27.09.2020 pending on the file of the 2nd respondent police within time limit as fixed by the Court. 2.The petitioner is the complainant in Crime No.1055 of 2020 and now the grievance of the petitioner is that, even after lapse of three years, investigation has not been completed and final report is filed.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent police registered an FIR in Crime No.1055 of 2020 and that the investigation is in progress. He further submitted that so far four witnesses have been examined and the disputed documents also seized. Hence, he seeks six months time to file a final report before the concerned Magistrate Court.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.1055 of 2020 before the concerned Magistrate 2/4

Court, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. During the course of enquiry, if any necessity arises, the second respondent shall enquire the petitioner by issuing summons and the petitioner is directed to appear before the enquiry officer and co-operate with him to complete the investigation.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
