O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioners complaint dated 26.12.2024 and issue Non-Traceable Certificate in respect of the registered sale deed dated 18.07.2011 as Doc No.2675/2011 registered with SRO Aranthangi by conducting appropriate enquiry.
2.According to the petitioner, he is the owner of the property in Document No.2675/2011, dated 18.07.2011 registered at SRO, Aranthangi. While so, when the petitioner was carrying the original sale deed with him, near Aranthangai bus stop he misplaced the same on 03.03.2024. Thereafter, he lodged a complaint on 15.12.2024, but the same has not been considered. Hence this petition. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that the petitioner sent an online complaint and thereafter, he has not appeared for enquiry. If the petitioner appears for enquiry along with relevant documents, they will conduct an enquiry and take appropriate action in accordance with law. 2/4
4.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this petition, recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court directs the petitioner to appear before the respondent on 05.04.2025 with relevant documents and thereafter, the respondent is directed to conduct enquiry upon the petitioner's representation and act in accordance with law, within a period of fifteen days from the date of this order.
