: Respondents PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondents to secure petitioner's minor son by name H.Shathick Rahman, aged 14 years, son of Habeeb Rahamn and produce the body and person of the detenu before this Court within the time stipulated by this Court and hand over his custody to him. ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by R.SUBBIAH, J] The petitioner is the father of the detenu viz., H.Shathick Rahman, aged 14 years. He went missing from 02.10.2017 and the petitioner searched him in several places. Since, he could not be traced, his father lodged a complaint before the respondent police finally. Pursuant to which, a case has been registered in Crime No.176 of 2017 for 'boy missing'. Since, no effective steps were taken, the petitioner is before this Court with this petition.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the detenu was produced by the respondent police.

3. On enquiry, the detenu stated that he had requested his father to admit him in a School at Yervadi, since he does not want to study in the present school, whereas the father did not accede to his request and he went out of his house on his own volition. He has categorically stated that now, he is willing to go along with the petitioner/father.

4.Since the detenu expressed his willingness to go along with the petitioner herein, nothing survives for adjudication in the present Habeas Corpus Petition. Accordingly, this Habeas Corpus petition is closed.
