ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal petition dated 01.08.2024, forwarded by the second respondent in proceedings Oo.Mu.A1/5301/2024 dated 18.12.2024, for grant of patta in respect of lands in Natham S.No. 282/4 and a portion measuring about 400 sq.ft. in Natham S.No. 282/3 at Sakkanti Village, Devakottai Taluk, Sivagangai District, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. This Court without expressing any opinion on the merits is directing the official respondents to consider the petitioner's appeal, after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as respondents 3 to 5 and any other rival claimants, and thereafter conduct an enquiry by affording an opportunity of personal hearing and pass appropriate orders within a period of five months from the date of receipt of 2/4

a copy of this order.

3. With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
