: Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus calling for the entire records, connected with the detention order of the Respondent No.2 in Detention Order No.29/2017 dated 26.09.2017 and quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the body or person of the detenu by name Selvam, son of Mariappan, aged about 39 years, now confining at Madurai Central Prison before this Court and set him at liberty forthwith.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by S.VIMALA, J.] This Habeas Corpus Petition is filed challenging the order of detention passed in Detention Order No.29/2017 dated 26.09.2017 by the second respondent.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned

Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the advisory board has found sufficient grounds for revocation of the Detention Order of Selvam, the petitioner herein and the Advisory Board had recommended for revocation of the order of detention dated 26.09.2017. Accordingly, the Government itself has revoked the orders of detention by the order in G.O.Rt.No.5442, Home, Prohibition & Excise (XI) Department, dated 08.11.2017. He has also produced the copy of the said Government Order.

3. In view of the order of revocation already passed, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed, as no further order is necessary. The above Government Order shall form part of this order. Sd/- Assistant Registrar (RTI) /True Copy/ Sub Assistant Registrar To
