*********** [Order of the Court was made by R.SUBBIAH, J.] The present Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed by the mother of the detenu, seeking a Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondents to produce the person or body of the detenu, by name, Kaliraj, S/o.Rathakrishnan, aged 22 years, before this Court and set him at liberty.

2. Today, when the Habeas Corpus Petition was taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents submitted that the detenu was arrested in connection https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

with a case in Crime No.255 of 2017, on 08.10.2017, produced before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Kovilpatti and remanded to judicial custody on the same day.

3. In view of the above, nothing survives for adjudication in the Habeas Corpus Petition. The Habeas Corpus Petition is, therefore, closed.
