The petitioner seeks for issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing respondents 1 and 3 to dispose of the representations sent by the petitioner dated 26.06.2017, 01.08.2017 and 15.05.2018 by taking follow up action within the time to be stipulated by this Court.

2.The petitioner is a hereditary Trustee of Arulmighu Agatheeswara Temple, Nagapattinam Taluk. In order to make renovation of the temple, he made a representation to the first respondent. In spite of remainders, the respondents have not taken action. The first respondent in his proceedings dated 11.08.2018 forwarded the representation to the third respondent. Even the third respondent has not taken any action, the petitioner has sent a remainder on 15.05.2018, which is also lying without consideration.
3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 3 and the learned counsel appearing for the second respondent.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, a direction is issued to the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representations dated 26.06.2017, 01.08.2017, 11.08.2017 and 15.05.2018 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
