Prayer: This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to direct the respondent police not to harass the petitioners and not to interfere in the property dispute between the petitioners, respondents 3 and 4 and other family members. ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police not to harass the petitioners and not to interfere with the property dispute between the petitioners, respondents 3, 4 and other family members.

2.The grievance of the petitioners is that based on the complaint given by the third respondent, the second respondent police is harassing the petitioners under the guise of enquiry. Hence, the present criminal original petition has been filed. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.Mr.K.Suyambulinga Bharathi, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), appearing for the respondents 1 & 2, on instructions, would submit that based on the complaint given by the third respondent, the second respondent police has conducted the enquiry and the complaint has been closed as civil in nature and the second respondent police is not harassing the petitioners.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) that the complaint has been closed as civil in nature, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. However, the second respondent police is directed not to harass the petitioners under the guise of enquiry.
