The criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent not to harass the petitioner and his family members under the guise of enquiry.
2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the second respondent police under the guise of enquiry harassing the petitioner and his family members and hence, the petitioner has filed the present criminal original petition.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) on instructions would submit that as many as six cases are pending against the petitioner for chain snatching and insofar as the second respondent police is concerned, three cases are pending against him for major offence of 379 I.P.C., and the second respondent is only investigating the complaint.

4. Considering the fact that the petitioner is an accused and number of cases are pending against him and the second respondent
police is conducting the investigation, the petitioner cannot file a petition with such prayer. Hence, the relief sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
