O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondents not to harass the petitioner under the guise of an enquiry .

2. Heard the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents and perused the materials placed on record.

3. It is seen that a case in Cr.No.1067 of 2014 for the offence under Section 420 IPC has been registered by the Sub Inspector of Police, C4 Thilagar Thidal (Crime Branch) Police Station, Madurai City, Madurai, against one Selvaraj, who is the son of the petitioners 1 and 2, brother of the 3rd petitioner and brother-in-law of the 4th petitioner. The said Selvaraj is absconding and therefore, the police are calling upon the petitioners for enquiry.

4. Under such circumstances, the petitioners are directed to cooperate with the enquiry and during enquiry, they shall not be harassed. It is the duty of the petitioners to help to trace their son, but, at the same time, the police under the guise of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

enquiry, shall not harass the petitioners.

5. With the above direction, this criminal original petition is closed.
