Respondents Prayer: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records relating to the order passed in para-3 of the Minutes Rc.No.3962/C4/2012 dated 30.08.2012 issued by the second respondent viz., "DFRS has instructed that the Divisional Officers and Deputy Directors should ensure that the Station Officer (Transport) should be made in charge of a Station only when the Station Officer is on causal or any other short leave and in case of long leave and vacancy, they have to put only nearby Station Officer be in-charge of that particular Station. The power of issuing NOC has been vested only with the jurisdictional Station Officer as per G.
O and hence, in his absence / vacant, this power can be exercised only another Station Officer, who is put hold full additional charge of the post by the concerned Deputy Director and not by Station Officer (Transport) or any other personnel of that Station" and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents "to put the petitioner as incharge of the Fire Service Station, Aruppukkottai during the leave / vacancy of the Station Officer, Fire Service Station, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.

The learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the writ petition. He has also made an endorsement to that effect.
