This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the Respondent No. 1 to 3 to provide adequate police protection to the land in Patta No. 29085, New T.S.no. 1501/1A3D, Ilupakudi village, Karaikudi taluk, Sivagangai District, compressing 4.13 cents of land, which was belongs to the petitioners daughter in law namely Ananthimala, W/o. Vijayakumar by considering his representation dated 22.03.2025.
2.According to the petitioner, his daughter-in-law is the owner of the said property and he wants to conduct survey and fence the property. 2/5
While so, the private respondents causing disturbance. Therefore, the petitioner sent the representation dated 22.03.2025, but the same has not been considered. Hence this petition.
3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that the petitioner's representation is under consideration and the same will be considered and disposed of within a period of fifteen days.
4.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this petition, this Court, without even issuing notice to the private respondents, is inclined to pass order.
5.Since the prayer of the petitioner is to consider the representation and provide police protection for fencing the property and the same is also pending with the third respondent, he is directed to consider the petitioner's representation and dispose of the same, after affording opportunity to both the parties, within a period of fifteen days from the date of this order in accordance with law.
